Tree support systems are used to provide support to limbs, individual branches and possibly an entire tree. These systems work by limiting the movement of the tree and limbs during high wind and storm events. Typically we use these systems in trees that have double leaders (codominant stems), in split limbs and certain situations where trunk damage and splitting may occur. Prior to any support system installation, the tree should have a risk evaluation performed by your ArborCare arborist.
